Motion Dock puts Motion Fun’s tools in a panel you arrange yourself, so the things you reach for can stay close to your work.
A few tools can share one panel. Give each a slot, and keep the ones you use in view.

Start with a layout
An empty dock offers four starters. Choose one to get a ready-made arrangement, or choose Build your own to start with an empty grid. You can change either one later.
The first layout guide takes you from an open dock to a working tool in a few steps.
Make room for what you use
Open Edit layout to add tools, move them or resize them. A tool can sit in a wide row, share a row with another tool or have more space of its own. Its interface adapts to the space it has.
You choose which tools belong in your layout. Leave the rest in the picker until you need them. Arrange your tools when you are ready to make the dock yours.
Keep a few ways to work
Each dock panel has three layouts. Use one for animation, another for organizing layers and another for finishing a project. Switch with the numbered buttons or 1, 2 and 3 while the dock has focus.
Need tools visible in more than one place? You can open another dock panel and place it elsewhere in your After Effects workspace.
The dock and its tools
The dock takes care of the workspace. Each tool takes care of a particular task, with its own controls and documentation. The tool directory links to all of them.
Motion Dock runs in After Effects. Petals for Illustrator remains a separate extension.
