Add Keymaster to Motion Dock
- Click Edit layout in Motion Dock’s top bar.
- Click an empty area of the layout and choose Keymaster from the module picker.
- Click Exit layout mode to use the tool.
If Keymaster is already in this layout, use its existing slot.
Move three keys
- Open a practice composition at least five seconds long. Add an unlocked layer.
- Add Opacity keys at 1 second, 1.5 seconds and 2 seconds, with values of 0, 50 and 100.
- Select all three keys in the Timeline.
- Put the playhead at 3 seconds.
- Click To playhead.
The keys should now sit at 3 seconds, 3.5 seconds and 4 seconds. Their values and easing stay the same. Keymaster shows a success message with the number of moved keys, and the moved keys remain selected.
If you see Select keyframes or keyed properties, select the keyframe diamonds again. No active composition means you need to activate the comp. Unlock the layer if the message says That layer is locked.
Use Edit > Undo in After Effects to restore the original keys in one step.
