Custom frames and safe zones

Add a frame size

Click the plus tile in Variants. Enter the width and height in pixels, then click Add frame or press Enter.

Both sides must be between 4 and 30000 pixels. Fits rounds fractional values to whole pixels. If either value is invalid, the popup nudges and stays open.

Fits saves the new frame and picks it for the next Make action. An existing frame with the same dimensions is picked instead of added again. The automatic label is a simple aspect ratio when possible, such as 3:4; otherwise it is the pixel size.

If the new size shares a label with another preset, such as 720×1280 beside the default 1080×1920, both tiles read 9:16. Check the pixel size on a tile, or give the new frame its own label in module settings.

Press Escape or click outside to dismiss the popup. Adding a frame does not create a comp until you click Make.

Edit, reorder, or remove presets

Open module settings and edit Frames to set labels, dimensions, and order. The first entries are the ones shown first in compact slots.

Right-click a frame and choose Remove this frame to remove its preset. Existing comps are unaffected. The last remaining frame cannot be removed from this menu.

Add safe-zone guides

Turn on the Safe zone guide icon beside the mode buttons before making variants. It shares the Safe Zone Guide setting, so the choice is saved. Choose Safe Zone Platform in module settings.

Every new outer variant receives a locked shape guide layer named Fits safe zone. It is a guide, so it does not appear in normal renders. It does not move your artwork or change what Fill and Fit do.

Frames at least 1.5 times as tall as they are wide receive red platform-UI margin bands and a cyan safe-area outline. Shorter frames, including 4:5, receive action-safe and title-safe outlines instead. Action safe is inset 5% on each edge; title safe is inset 10%.

Platform margins

These are the built-in margins at 1080×1920. Fits scales vertical margins with height and horizontal margins with width. They are fixed guides, not a live reading of a platform’s current interface.

Turning the option on later does not update existing variants. Make a new variant to add a guide with the new choice.
