After success, the action briefly shows a checkmark and, when there is room, Created or Applied. With the drawer closed, the toast says Counter created or Counting, followed by the formatted range and roll when relevant. Refusal badges and fixes are listed in Troubleshooting.
Type custom prefix and suffix text beside the big number when those fields fit. Otherwise use Text in ⋯. The faint + placeholders beside the preview are text-entry hints, not the positive-sign control.
Quick formatting buttons
These buttons also appear in the options drawer. Right-click a main-panel formatting button to open the drawer.

Numeric fields and modifiers
These gestures work on From, To, and Zeros.
Type ungrouped values such as 1234.5. A comma in numeric entry is treated as a decimal mark, not a thousands separator. Invalid entry leaves the value unchanged.

Shift-click the main action always creates a new layer. Alt-click requests Roll; combine both modifiers to create a new roll. Cmd/Ctrl has no special main-action behavior.
Different slot sizes
Odo offers half-width and full-width slots. As height shrinks, it hides the ease row, formatting row, and value fields in that order. A short wide slot places the preview beside the controls.
At very small sizes, only the preview, action, and a corner ⋯ remain. The action still uses your current choices. Every option is in the drawer. Right-click the preview to open it.

Odo text counters have all these controls. Odo · Roll has only Value and Multiplier; edit its format through the panel. Prefix and suffix are edited through Odo for both looks. See Edit and retime a counter for keyframe read-back and updates.
