Tidy all

Review a list, go back, then click its left icon to include or exclude that category. This choice is saved.

By default, Unsorted, Empty folders, Unused, Duplicates, and Missing are all included. Fonts and Naming are report-only categories.

Missing only runs as part of Tidy all when a search path has already been entered or chosen in this panel session. Tidy all does not open a folder chooser. It uses the saved Remove unused comps setting; holding Alt on Tidy all adds no comp-removal override.

The cleanup order is relink, merge duplicates, remove unused items, sort, then remove empty folders. Each category checks the project again when it runs. The combined action is one undo step.

Feedback and refresh

Before a scan, counts show dashes and cleanup actions are inactive. After scanning, a checkmark means that category has no counted findings. Its right action is inactive, but its list can still open. Counts above 999 display as 999+.

A cleanup rescans automatically and briefly shows how many items it handled. A toast reports sorted, removed, merged, or relinked totals and any locked layers skipped. The ring fills as the score improves and sparkles when it reaches 100.

The Fonts badge shows the current layer’s position in the reveal cycle. Naming shows how many comps were selected. If Tidy cannot find Renamer in the dock, its toast says Selected N comps · rename them in Renamer.

Rescan after an undo, a manual project edit, changing settings, or switching projects. Tidy does not continuously watch the project. Changing scope clears the old report and requires a new scan.

Resizing Tidy

A narrow, tall slot keeps the ring above the findings. The default added slot uses full width; Tidy also supports a half-width slot.

In Edit layout, drag the slot's resize handle to change its shape.

A wide slot puts the ring beside the findings. Shorter slots shrink the ring and may turn the rows into icon tiles. Labels disappear as space runs out; hover to identify a control.

A short row keeps all seven categories as compact tiles. Their order matches the labeled rows above.

At the smallest short-row sizes, tooltips are suppressed to keep them out of the way. Give Tidy more room when you need labels or help identifying an icon.
